It is easy to make chips from raw banana at home. To make chips, first of all you must have raw banana. Then there should be salt as per taste, then to make the skirt, you must have black salt, cumin powder, chilli powder, chilli powder, mustard oil or refined oil.
How to make banana chips
First of all, wash and peel the raw green banana thoroughly. Make sure the bananas are not too ripe, as this will prevent the chips from becoming crispy. Cut the banana into thin and equal pieces. Thin slices are best for chips, as they cook quickly and thoroughly. Take water in a vessel and add salt in it. If you want, you can also add lemon juice, this will give a special taste to the chips. Now soak the banana pieces in this salted water for about 10 minutes. This process helps in making the chips tasty and crispy. After 10 minutes, take out the banana pieces from the water and keep them on a cloth and let them dry thoroughly.
Now heat sufficient amount of oil in a pan. When the oil is well heated, slowly add the banana pieces into it. Take care that the pieces do not stick to each other. Fry the chips until they become golden and crisp. This process will be completed in about 3-5 minutes. Drain the chips on a paper towel to absorb excess oil and then put them in a container.
